In the 9 months that I’ve been training with Adam, we have gone on some serious adven
tures and powered through some tough plateaus. I’ve already lost 15 pounds with him, and only have another seven pounds to go! I started out seeing him twice a week, but he has really trained me to become a person who can actually train myself! I see him once a week now, and it’s always a workout that I couldn’t live without! I was a girl who didn’t believe in exercise – I had never kept a workout regimen for more than a week in my whole life. Adam has completely changed my life and my lifestyle. He changes up my workout every week to keep it interesting and I’m always sore the next day! I know working with Adam will help me reach my goal. The journey to the perfect body is a long one, and it’s easy to slip off the wagon, but Adam will make sure you get right back on and he will be there for you the whole way, encouraging you!

I have spent the past few years working with a number of different trainers but it’s really all about finding the right fit. I began training with EMPOWERED in April. What started as a quest for looking fantastic in my wedding dress has turned out to be so much more! Initially, when Adam asked why I was looking to start a training regimen, my answer was to become ‘fit for life,’ and thats exactly what he’s helped me accomplish. His creativity and motivation in putting our sessions together has transformed my body and I couldn’t be happier with the way I look and feel.

The combination of cardiovascular work using the climbing wall and treadmill along with the martial arts and boxing sessions has resulted in my becoming much more defined and toned without adding bulk. Incorporating the use of free weights with lunges and leg presses enables us to maximize time and get the most efficient full body workout. Who knew push-ups could be so effective?! He makes the most of each of our sessions and allows time at the end of each one to stretch appropriately. As I said to a friend last week, training with EMPOWERED has helped with the day-to-day life experiences. It makes the bad times not seem as bad and the good times seem that much better!

I’ve been working out with trainers on and off for the better of 10 years but until I started working out with Adam I never saw real results. As a bride-to-be preparing for my wedding, I wanted someone who will help me achieve a lean. strong look. I am well on my way in less than 3 months! Adam’s combination of cardio and conditioning is challenging, innovative and draws attention from fellow gym-goers wondering what we will do next. I grew up playing soccer, skiing, and also ran four marathons in my twenties; I always considered myself an athlete. At 5’4″ and 130 pounds, I thought I was in okay shape. But while I could run endlessly, I couldn’t touch my toes! My legs were always strong, but I have never been able to do a pull up. It was my determination to finally do one that led me to train with EMPOWERED. When I found out, during my initial consultation, that my body fat percentage was above 30, I was shocked.
Adam has transformed me, both physically and mentally. His method of training is unparalleled, and I have worked with multiple personal trainers in the past. He is incredibly focused on his clients and comes up with varied and creative workouts, which incorporate his background as a martial artist and his knowledge of how the body works. My last workout included kicks, squats, and yoga-inspired pushups. At the end of it, I was not only able to touch my toes, I was able to reach about three inches beyond them. In fact, Adam is so good that my 61 year old mother now trains with him twice a week as well!
Adam challenges me. He never pushes me beyond what I can do, but constantly pushes me beyond what I thought I could do. I have never left with a strain or a pull, but I am 12 pounds lighter than when I started training. My body fat percentage is now below twenty. My first pull-up is a few short weeks away!
